The Pacific Islander electorate has the potential to shape and determine the outcome of elections as well as influence and elect decision makers who represent our values and interests. The Utah Pacific Islander Civic Engagement Coalition (UPICEC) seeks to empower the 41,000+ Pacific Islanders residing in Utah during the 2016 election year by implementing our Voter Initiative, which focuses on voter education and mobilization. We achieve this two-fold agenda by utilizing web publishing, social media campaigns, tabling at community events, reaching out to our personal networks, and collaborating with partners and allies.
